Arsenal are set to hand Leicester City striker
Jamie Vardy a four-year contract, with
wages of at least £120,000-per-week –
according to Football Insider .


Reports emerged on Friday evening that the
England international’s release clause of around
£21m was trigged by Arsene Wenger, with the
29-year-old expected to undergo a medical and
sign within the next 48 hours.
The contract will make him amongst the highest
paid players at the Gunners – who will boast
the talents of Danny Welbeck, Olivier Giroud and
Theo Walcott as well as Vardy as attacking

The former Fleetwood Town centre forward had
a stunning season up front for the Foxes last
season, scoring 24 goals as he led them to
Premier League glory in what was a campaign
full of shocks.
Vardy will become the club’s second summer
signing, with the club looking to get their
transfer business done fairly early – while their
third recruit could come in the form of 17-year-
old Kelechi Nwakali, who is expected to sign for
the north London side in the next two weeks.
